Six Ways daybet Protects Your Personal Data
These are the core data protection principles built into how daybet handles your information every day.
All personal data transmitted between your browser and daybet servers is protected by 256-bit SSL/TLS encryption — the same standard used by Philippine commercial banks. Your login credentials, payment details, and personal information are encrypted end-to-end at all times.
daybet does not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties for their own marketing or commercial purposes. Your data belongs to you. We share it only where necessary to provide services — with payment processors, KYC providers, and regulators — and never for profit.
daybet processes personal data in full compliance with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173) and the regulations of the National Privacy Commission of the Philippines. Filipino players' data rights are fully upheld on the daybet platform.
You have the right to access, correct, delete, and port your personal data held by daybet at any time. You can also object to certain types of processing and withdraw consent. daybet has a dedicated process for handling all data subject rights requests promptly.
daybet only collects personal data that is necessary for the specific purposes described in this policy. We do not collect data speculatively or for undefined future uses. The principle of data minimisation is applied across all daybet data collection activities.
Personal data held by daybet is retained only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected, or as required by law. Data no longer needed is securely deleted or anonymised. Retention periods are defined and communicated in this policy.
Data Controller
For the purposes of the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173) of the Philippines and this Privacy Policy, the data controller responsible for your personal data is daybet, the operator of the online gaming platform accessible at daybet.cam. As data controller, daybet determines the purposes and means of processing your personal data and is responsible for ensuring that such processing complies with applicable Philippine data privacy law.
If you have questions about how daybet processes your personal data, or if you wish to exercise any of your rights as a data subject under Philippine law, you may contact daybet's Data Protection Officer (DPO) using the details set out in Section 14 of this Privacy Policy.
Data We Collect
daybet collects the following categories of personal data from players:
2.1 Registration & Identity Data
- Full legal name as it appears on your government-issued identification.
- Date of birth (for age verification — you must be 21 years or older to use daybet).
- Email address and mobile phone number registered to you in the Philippines.
- Username and password (stored in hashed, non-reversible form — not readable by daybet staff).
- Gender (optional, for personalisation purposes only).
2.2 Identity Verification (KYC) Data
- Government-issued photo identification (e.g., Philippine passport, driver's licence, UMID, SSS/GSIS ID, PhilHealth ID, Voter's ID).
- Proof of address document (e.g., utility bill, bank statement issued within the last 90 days).
- Selfie photograph for facial verification, where required.
- Documentation of payment methods used (e.g., screenshot of GCash account, bank account details), where required under AML procedures.

- Records of all withdrawals requested and processed, including amount, payment method, timestamp, and status.

2.4 Gaming Activity Data
- Game session history — games played, bets placed, outcomes, and timestamps across all daybet products.
- Sports betting selections, odds accepted, bet slip history, and payout records.

- Feedback, complaints, and dispute records.
To the extent that any data collected by daybet during KYC verification constitutes "sensitive personal information" as defined under the Data Privacy Act of 2012 — such as data pertaining to health, government-issued identification numbers, or financial account details — daybet applies enhanced protection measures to that data and processes it only for the specific legal and compliance purposes described in this policy.
How We Collect Your Data
daybet collects personal data through the following means:
- Directly from you — when you register for a daybet account, complete the KYC verification process, make a deposit or withdrawal, contact customer support, participate in a promotion, or respond to a survey.
- Automatically during platform use — through server logs, session tracking, and cookies when you visit daybet.cam or access any daybet service. See Section 9 for details on cookies.
- From third-party payment providers — when you complete a GCash, PayMaya, BPI, BDO, Metrobank, or card transaction, the payment provider confirms the transaction status and reference data to daybet. daybet does not receive full payment account credentials from these providers.
- From KYC verification partners — where daybet uses a third-party identity verification service to process the documents you submit, that provider shares the verification outcome and relevant extracted data with daybet.
- From publicly available sources — where daybet has a lawful basis to do so, such as verifying an address against publicly available records, or checking a name against sanctions screening lists as required under AML obligations.

- Legal Obligation: Processing required to comply with applicable Philippine laws and regulations, including the Anti-Money Laundering Act (RA 9160 as amended), PAGCOR regulatory requirements, and the Data Privacy Act itself.
- Legitimate Interests: Processing necessary for daybet's legitimate business interests — including fraud prevention, platform security, responsible gaming monitoring, and service improvement — where those interests are not overridden by your rights and interests as a data subject.
- Consent: Processing of your personal data for marketing and promotional communications, where you have provided explicit, informed consent to receive such communications. You may withdraw this consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.
Data Sharing & Disclosure
daybet does not sell your personal data. We may share your personal data with the following categories of third parties, but only to the extent necessary and as described below:

- Regulatory Authorities: PAGCOR and other Philippine regulatory or law enforcement authorities, where disclosure is required by law, court order, or regulatory mandate.
- Anti-Money Laundering Authorities: The Anti-Money Laundering Council (AMLC) of the Philippines, where daybet is required to file transaction reports or suspicious transaction reports under RA 9160.

daybet does not share your personal data with third parties for their own direct marketing purposes. Any promotional communications you receive will be from daybet directly, and only where you have consented. If you have not opted in to marketing, you will not receive promotional emails from daybet.

| Gaming Activity Logs | For three (3) years after the relevant session, or longer where required for dispute resolution or regulatory investigation. |
| Customer Support Records | For three (3) years after the close of the relevant support interaction or dispute. |
| Marketing Consent Records | Until consent is withdrawn plus three (3) years to demonstrate prior consent status if required. |
| Self-Exclusion Records | Permanently, to prevent re-registration in violation of self-exclusion obligations. |
Upon expiry of the applicable retention period, daybet will securely delete or anonymise personal data in its possession. Anonymised data from which you cannot be identified may be retained indefinitely for analytical and statistical purposes.
Security Measures
daybet implements technical and organisational security measures appropriate to the nature and sensitivity of the personal data it processes. These measures include:
- Encryption in transit: All data transmitted between your browser and daybet servers is protected by 256-bit SSL/TLS encryption.
- Encryption at rest: Sensitive data stored on daybet systems — including KYC documents and payment reference data — is encrypted at rest using industry-standard algorithms.
- Password security: Your daybet account password is stored using a one-way cryptographic hash function. daybet cannot retrieve or read your password in plaintext.
- Two-Factor Authentication (2FA): daybet provides 2FA for all registered accounts and strongly recommends its activation to provide an additional layer of login security.
- Access controls: Personal data is accessible only to authorised daybet staff and service providers who require it to perform their specific functions. Access is controlled by role and logged.
- Breach response: daybet maintains an internal data breach response procedure. In the event of a personal data breach that is likely to result in harm to affected players, daybet will notify the National Privacy Commission and affected players in accordance with NPC Circular No. 16-03 and applicable breach notification obligations.
While daybet implements robust security measures, no internet-based platform can guarantee absolute security. You also have an important role to play in protecting your own account — please keep your daybet login credentials confidential, enable 2FA, and report any suspected unauthorised access immediately to daybet customer support.
